well as you may have noticed i never came online on the Xerologic Minecraft Server
there is a good reason for it (well thats what i think)
i am folding for weeks now (and working my ass off ofcourse)
the folding client uses 150% of my CPU and Graphics card so i cant play games (or i need to stop them, but i dont want that)

now you say: "what is folding?", well here is a link to it
and here and here are the stats of my CPU, Graphics card (+my laptop's graphics card) and 14 HPCS (HP Cloud Servers)
looks like my 6901 Project will be done in a day, so i can come in and visit the server for a few hours

Well, after a few days i got my hands on the new Bukkit 1.1 files so update your client to 1.1 and join the server
I also added a few new plugins: iConomy 6, Citizens, XPbanker (still needs to be configured), CountryLoginMessage and Jobs. We already had the Skylands but after a while it started lagging so i disabled it to fix the lag. Turned out it was just the server sending to much chunks to 30 ppl, so i had dynmap to fully render everything and now its running fine, so Skylands is back online again I also added a few more thing to the donation packages, like Gils (our money currency), npc create permissions and a new Member status Donating 10 USD will get you these:     - 10 Golds     - 10 Obsidians     - 4 Diamonds     - 1500 Gils     - and Silver Status          Donating 20 USD will get you these:     - 25 Golds     - 20 Obsidians     - 10 Diamonds     - 2500 Gils     - and Gold Status          Donating 30 USD will get you these:     - 50 Golds     - 45 Obsidians     - 25 Diamonds     - 4000 Gils     - and Diamond Status      i will add more packages in the future with more rewards in it and bigger
so joins us now and play with the best!

I thought i can update to the newest MC but there is no CraftBukkit 1.0.0 so i will revert back to 1.8.1 BETA
you can get the older version using MC Downgrader 2.0 [Link]
and revert your client back to 1.8.1

we will update the server to the MC 1.0.0 version when there is a CraftBukkit Server release for it
untill then, stick with 1.8.1

Sooooooooo, here is another update of the Xerologic Minecraft Server
lately we had some lag problems with the server
i installed a few performance plugins, but it still was lagging bad
but i found the culprit, it was the old Permissions 3.1.6, so i removed that and searched for a new one
the new one is called PermissionsEX and its not lagging anymore

Also a few days ago i tested Dynmap but it seems its lagging and crashing my server
last crash didnt save the world, so a lot of ppl had to remake their homes, ect

Some ppl are complaing about the City (Maze? wtf?) so i am going to put it Sign Warps at the spawn
dont know how many i will put at the spawn but at least 4 (Outer Wall North, East, South and ofcourse West)
when you click on one of those Warps you will go to the outside of the city where you can build

so this was the November update, i hope you all forgive me for testing and breaking stuff
wont do that anymore :P

well i know you ppl have updated minecraft to 1.8.1
but the servers are still running on 1.7 which are better
so download MC Downgrader and downgrade it to 1.7.3 and dont update it to 1.8 again :P
well i have updated the server and removed a few plugins, which were making errors in the MC program
the names are BukkitContrib, openinv and Citizens

Well, the minecraft server is running for a week now
but i had no time for posting it (sorry about that)
also i had alot of problems with the server and a few issue with my computer (LAN chip is f*cked up, been getting Overclock_Failed_BSOD's "0x124")
but everything is fine now and i will try to setup a iConomy plugin for the town that i made with NPC in it (trader, blacksmith and healer)
i also need to build a Tavern somewhere in the map that can trade and where you can stay in it
also more plugins (i hope) will be added

Rules:
-No TNT
-Dont be an ass
-Dont destroy/edit other people's stuff (not that it is possible anyway)
-Dont obstruct other ppl and/or their homes with blocks (mods and admins can see who placed blocks)
-Respect the staff and other users on the server
-Use the signpost to private your stuff (blocks and doors that you made are yours and can't be broken)
-Free Build! (no /give commands for members and guilds)
-No begging for items
-75 users server (will be more if the server gets bussier)

well i checked for a new server to replace my 2 old and slower ones
and i found a nice one Intel Core i5-2400 with 16GB DDR3, 4TB hd space and a 100mbit connection
my old ones where a Q6700 with 4GB DDR2, 2TB hd space and a E6xxx series with 2GB DDR2, 250GB hd space
so i put a virtual progrma on it (VMWARE ESXi 4.1) and made a 2 virtual machines which are faster then those 2 old ones :P

there where also a few issues with the IP's:
TeamSpeak3 server is using a different IP now but the subdomain is redirecting to the new one
The webserver has 2 IP's instead of 1 (there are still a few issues with the compiling stuff but those will be fixed later)
Minecraft server (yeah i know, i never posted this in the news) has a new IP but the subdomain is redirecting to the new one (minecraft.xerologic.net:1337)



i also removed the TS3 Viewer to a different page, because the channel list is to damn big :)

all in all, its been a good week for me :P

It seems that our hosting provider canceled their French server (don't know why) that we used for IRCD
but luckly i bought a few days before another IRCD Account and put a IRC Server + Anope Services on it (Energized.DE.EU.Xerologic.net)

in a few days i will buy a nice Quad Core server from a another French hosting company, to replace my old one (Typhoon.NL.EU.Xerologic.net)
it has a 100mbit connection, so its better then my current one
But i recently paid for my old one so when i buy the new one we have 3 servers again, but after 2 months Typhoon will disappear.
